Photo Of The Day: Strange Setting As Celtic Begin Pre-Season

Today’s photo of the day focuses on a bizarre opening to Celtic’s pre-season campaign. The Hoops beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-1 at a Welsh training camp this afternoon. The game took place in a strange setting as it was not in a stadium, no fans were present and a cricket match appeared to be taking place in the background. However, that’s possibly not the most bizarre setting for a pre-season opener.

Indeed, in 2015 the Bhoys faced Eibar in the Basque region of Spain and as the teams walked out of the tunnel, they were piped onto the pitch!
