Olivier Ntcham has confirmed that he has left Celtic. The midfielder, who was out of contract next summer, took to Instagram to thank the club for the time that he spent there as well as thanking the fans for their support.

The Frenchman joined from Manchester City for £4.5m in 2017. The player blew hot and cold across a three-and-a-half-year spell before his loan move to Marseille in January. It looked as if he would make the switch permanently back to France but endured a torrid time resulting in him coming back to Glasgow. However, the player was spotted at the Marseille game at the weekend suggesting a move was on the table again.
The club will rue rejecting a £12m bid from Porto in 2019 when it appeared that the player wanted to leave the club and now, unless a fee is announced, it looks as if he will go for a very small amount compared to the outlay paid to City back in the summer of 2017. Celtic will hope to reuse the wages appropriately in the next few weeks as Ange Postecoglou requires a huge overhaul.
All the best for the future, Oli.
Regardless of my personal views on Ntcham, we'll always Rome 🍀🇮🇹pic.twitter.com/RX0AsuduNq
