Celtic are due to play Livingston at 8.15pm tonight but the pitch in West Lothian looks to be in a poor state ahead of the match. Livi have got a snow plough on the pitch as they try and clear it in time for the match tonight.
However, the game should only go ahead if the pitch is safe. Livi have had two games postponed this season so far, with one game being frozen and the other being waterlogged. The 4G surface clearly struggles with the elements and it is a poor advert for Scottish Football.
Although the game looks set to go ahead. Albeit making the game a whole lot more difficult for Celtic.
I'm told the pitch at the Tony Macaroni Arena is almost clear of snow and the pitch underneath 'feels good' ahead of Livingston against Celtic tonight.
The only issue could come if the weather turns again before kick off.

Celtic are yet to win at Livi since their promotion in 2018. It is a notoriously tough ground and it will be even more unpleasant if it has had a layer of snow over it. Neil Lennon’s side need a win in order to keep themselves in the title hunt.
These surfaces should not be allowed in the SPFL.! No it’s no buts, just do not allow them!. They are a menace to life and limb. Ban them and do it quickly. Next season let’s have NO stupid pitches!!.
