Photo: St Mirren give positive pitch update ahead of today’s clash

Scotland has been subjected to some harsh wintery conditions in recent days with a number of games falling foul to the weather; however, St Mirren have confirmed that today’s game in Paisley will go ahead with the pitch looking good.

Saints beat Celtic 2-1 last month with Neil Lennon’s side winning the last game in Paisley 2-1 back in September. Jim Goodwin has transformed the Renfrewshire club into a top six team and it’ll prove to be another tough match.

Neil Lennon promised revenge for the defeat last month and will likely line up with the defensive partnership of Kris Ajer and Stephen Welsh, with Greg Taylor and Jonjoe Kenny playing at right back.
