Video: Celtic loanee Vakoun Bayo impresses with the opening goal against Ligue 1 opposition Bordeaux

Vakoun Bayo looks like one of those strange signings who might not work out, but his loan spell in France with Toulouse was the perfect chance for him to shine.

He’s joined a team with ambitions of promotion so they should dominate most games and score plenty of goals, but he’s struggled so far with only three strikes in seventeen games.

The cup has been a bit kinder to him, and he shows a lot of poise and quality with this finish this afternoon to fire Toulouse in front against top flight opposition in Bordeaux:

At this point he’s not shown enough to suggest he has a place at Celtic next season, but this could spark his season into life and hopefully sends him on a run of goals in the second half of the season.
