Photos: Star Trio Return to Training Ahead of Glasgow Derby

Celtic welcomed three players to training this morning that were previously doubts going into this weekend’s fixture versus Steven Gerrard’s Rangers in the Betfred Cup Final.

Neil Lennon’s side had gone into the week before the game with a number of injury concerns; however photos from today’s training session suggest that the team could be nearing full strength for the game.

Odsonne Edouard, who missed the wins versus Rennes and Ross County due to a thigh strain trained today with a view to making Sunday’s game at Hampden. However, he wasn’t alone as the Celts were put through their paces ahead of the match versus Hamilton tomorrow.

Bolingoli, who’s been out since the Betfred Cup Semi-Final win over Hibs was training – which will be a welcome relief to Neil Lennon as he looks to get his left-back dilemma sorted.

Another massive boost for the holders is that Moi Elyounoussi trained, after a foot injury has had him on the sidelines since November’s international break.

The return of the trio is excellent for Celtic and worrying for Rangers as it is a mixture of experience, quality and hunger that would be a welcome addition into the Celts as they look to continue this incredible run and win ten trophies in a row.
