Photos: Two Displays In Tribute To John Clark

John Clark is a name that needs no introduction to the Celtic faithful. A Lisbon Lion, a coach, kit man and lifelong supporter with a humble and kind personality – he will forever be remembered in Paradise.

Ahead of today’s match between Celtic and St Mirren, the great man was dedicated two tifo displays at opposite ends of the stadium, by both the Bhoys and the Green Brigade Ultras.

The Bhoys display covered area 122 at the corner of the Main and Jock Stein stands. It showed Clark in his later years, when he was invited to unfurl the league flag at Celtic Park. Beneath the image was three banners reading:

Players come and go

Some achievements

Live forever

At the other end, the Green Brigade chose an image of Clark in his playing days with the club. The banner covered the entire Lisbon Lions stand, with black flags in the background and the words John Clark 1941-2025 at the bottom.

He will never be forgotten.
