“Powerful Racist Dimensions” and A Question Humza Yousaf: “Is this not a hate crime?”

Watch this video which gives you an insight into the racial abuse and discrimination that the Irish Catholic population had to endure in Scotland in the the 20th Century. Truly shocking and never has the term Scotland’s Shame been more appropriate.

Yesterday many people were appalled by another video of the sick Sikh staff from a high profile restaurant in Glasgow, wearing Rangers gear and singing the Billy Boys, a vile sectarian and racist chant that has been banned by UEFA and singing it is regarded as a hate crime in itself. The Sikh Billy Boys appear happy enough to be up to their knees in other people’s blood because of their race or religion – something that if the roles were reversed they would quite rightly be outraged about and the Scottish Government’s Justice Minister would have been all over the media condemning with Police Scotland investigating.

But the Justice Secretary is mute. The Media are silent and the Police Scotland do nothing. Scotland’s Shame a century on is alive and kicking.

“And as soon as some random person racially abuses them for being Indian or their faith which sadly still exists in our society. I hope when they retaliate they remember their own actions and song choices that is nothing but bigoted filth and hatred against Catholics.”

@HumzaYousaf How does this sit under the HCB?”

“Another day of @HumzaYousaf remaining silent on these Rangers fans singing sectarian songs and refusing to comment if this breaches his new hate crime bill. Or is anti Catholic bigotry ok?

      • No restaurant staff involved, the one that was linked has nothing to do with this video and we have just updated the story to include their statement. Fair play to them for condemning these racist bigots.

      • Then Mr Singh , report them to the police, celebrating and encouraging murder and breaking covid 19 rules , I’m sure your community could help identify them if you really wanted to
