Newcastle United have made an enquiry over the loan signing of Olivier Ntcham. The Premier League side beat Everton today and are looking to reinforce their midfield as they look to battle the drop and ex-Man City midfielder Ntcham may fit that bill.
Celtic will only be keen to sell or loan with an option to buy, so that they can maximise the value of the Frenchman. The player is desperate to leave the club and has been out of the team for some time. Sky Sports news duo Keith Downie and Anthony Joseph have updated supporters stating that the Toon are chasing the 24-year-old.

Ntcham appears unhappy at the club, a million miles away from the moment he netted a late winner against Lazio last season. The club need to protect an asset and sell for the right value, a loan may just devalue that fee.
The club are yet to seal any signings but the major departure has been Jeremie Frimpong, leaving for £11.5m to Bayer Leverkusen. Somehow, the manager is still in place and this may have spurred some players on to leave the club.
