PREMIER SPORTS have responded to criticism and complaints in the wake of Celtic’s win over Aberdeen on Sunday. Many complaints were lodged by supporters after their pictures failed in the first half, leaving fans frustrated having paid subscriptions to see the big games.
The home of Scottish knockout football was blighted by streaming/display issues on Sunday as Celtic v Aberdeen took place at Hampden. As supporters are locked out, they find themselves at the mercy of the TV companies and their streams. However, supporters were left disappointed when the online service provided by Premier buffered despite many viewers having perfectly working wifi/signal.
The broadcasters responded to the criticisms of a lot of fans, stating that they would be staging a review to make sure there’s no repeat of Sunday’s debacle.
“Premier Sports would like to apologise to viewers who would have experienced picture break up or loss of signal.
“We are reviewing again the current Player set up to make it as robust as possible for big events so that every customer has a good experience. In the meantime we are sorry again you had a poor viewing experience.”
Hopefully there will be no repeat of the broadcast last weekend as supporters were rightfully disgruntled after paying the broadcasters to provide an high-definition version of the game. Although, this type of incident will have lead to supporters trying alternative streams online.
