PRIMAL SCREAM posted a message of support for the Green Brigade who waved 16 Palistinian flags at the match on Saturday, “one for every Palestinian shot down and murdered by the Israeli army” and adding “so proud of my team’s supporters for their constant show of solidarity with the Palestinian people.”
The post has been shared thousands of times and the comments seem to have brought out the worst elements of Scotland’s Shame.
Things get even worse on their forums, one has a thread titled “The Piggery Jew haters show of support for terrorists killed in Gaza” and the comments that follow are just as horribly warped as you would expect. Primal Scream come in for a fair bit of stick too as you can imagine.
Social media really does shine a light on these people on occasions like this and it is an ugly, warped, ignorant, bigoted sight that does Scotland no credit whatsoever.
