Rangers were beaten by Motherwell this afternoon to hand Celtic a huge incentive to go top tomorrow afternoon. The Scottish Champions travel to Tynecastle to face Hearts knowing that three points will see them regain their place at the top of the Cinch Premiership after just a few weeks.
Strikes from Theo Bair and Dan Casey either side of a questionable James Tavernier penalty delivered three points to The Steelmen and the result hands Celtic the chance to go top with a win against third place Hearts.

Brendan Rodgers will know that his team will face a tough challenge tomorrow but with the added incentive that they can go top, despite the rhetoric from the media about the Ibrox side, will excite the Irishman. Celtic need to write their own story, as Rodgers said and getting all three points tomorrow is vital.
With the exceptional display on Wednesday against Dundee while Rangers scraped by Killie, will we see a change in the media rhetoric about the title race? For Celtic, winning is all that matters.
We face a team tomorrow that lay down against the new club a couple of weeks ago, but we know that they certainly won’t be doing that against us!
Especially now that their stablemates lost today!
I was shocked to see that the new guys managed to get a penalty today, just when they needed it! Funny how that works every week eh?
Watch out Celtic! There will be much circling of the wagons in many quarters tonight in preparation for tomorrow!
Celtic’s to throw away.
Hail Hail
It was coming, they scraped by killie. A win for us and the tables have well and truly turned. And it should shut up the Celtic fans who have been saying for weeks that mob would not drop points against any of the other teams, fecking brain damage. Pretty confident we will be back at the top of the league tomorrow afternoon.
But now Rodgers will be in over cautious mode again and we will be back to sidewards passing today so we don’t risk losing the ball and a goal.
