WEST BROMWICH ALBION have emerged as candidates to sign Celtic’s Olivier Ntcham. The French midfielder has been the subject of a variety of clubs and now Football Insider has claimed that Slaven Bilic is fond on bringing Ntcham to the Premier League.
The transfer window often leads to weird and wonderful links coming from a variety of outlets. The source is definitely one that you need to take with a pinch of salt; however Celtic have made a few financial outlays this summer so there may be a feeling in the boardroom at Celtic Park that they need to make a sale to balance the books.
Olivier Ntcham is one of the club’s top players but finding a place for him in the starting XI appears to be difficult. He appears to be inconsistent – brilliant some weeks then a bit off it the next. Lennon, Kennedy and Strachan will know his abilities at training but they need to find a way to get him into the team. Ntcham should be one of the first names on the team sheet every week, he is fast, skilful and has an eye for a pass. Not only does he do the dirty work, he also has a final product.
Ntcham signed from Manchester City in 2017 and has made 132 appearances, scoring 23 times as Celtic have enjoyed phenomenal success.
