Report: Rennes to sign Kyogo as Jota set for Celtic return

Rennes are reportedly set to sign Kyogo Furuhashi from Celtic for €12m with Jota included in the deal. The French side have been linked with the Japanese striker throughout the window and now, it is reported that a deal has been struck.

Le Parisien claim that Kyogo has played his last game for Celtic and the player’s move to Ligue 1 will allow Jota to make a sensational return to Paradise.

Kyogo scored a hat-trick of disallowed goals in the win over Young Boys as Celtic secured their place in the UEFA Champions League knockout phase. The player turned 30 earlier this week and there have been rumblings over whether he wants to remain at the club given he changed his agent to CAA Base last summer, suggesting a move could be forthcoming.

Celtic will likely only entertain a deal if they can secure an adequate replacement, Jota would satisfy the need for wingers but an elite striker like Kyogo would be ideal.

Don’t believe a word of it maybe trying to sign jota but kyogo will be here till the summer if we can get a first class striker as a replacement if not celtic won’t let him go unless decent offer comes in that he and the club find 2 hard to turn down best since larsson in my opinion just more paper noise .Hail Hail

This better be class A trolling.

We need a winger, yes but we also need to add a prolific striker not give away the only one we have.
Yeah let’s go to Villa park and beyond with Idah leading the line.
