Reported Celtic summer transfer target Edouard Michut is attracting interest for performances with Sunderland. The youngster scored as Tony Mowbray’s side were beaten by Sheffield United at the Stadium of Light.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano took to Twitter to update on the future of the PSG starlet, who was on Celtic’s watchlist before they moved for Aaron Mooy.

Michut, 20, was impressing in PSG’s academy, playing six times for PSG in Ligue 1 and twice in the Coupe de France before sealing a switch to Sunderland. Michut was in and around the first-team squad last season and also scored twice in eight appearances in the UEFA Youth League.

Celtic opted for Aaron Mooy, the veteran midfielder, on a free transfer. The Australian midfielder has been an inspired piece of business, replacing Tom Rogic as a goal-scoring midfielder. In 37 appearances, Mooy has seven goals and ten assists but his form has really kicked on following the World Cup in Qatar moving the 32-year-old from a bit-part player to a regular starter.
