TikTok Video: Carter-Vickers Excuses A Salty Steward

Celtic has jumped on another recent social media trend on their official TikTok account by uploading a short clip involving centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers and a certain sound from a classic movie.

The movie in question is ‘Zoolander’. Within the movie, the two main characters brush shoulders, leading to the iconic confrontation’s creation. Celtic have used the sound from this clip and put it over Carter-Vickers’s goal against Hearts, as in his celebrations, a rather salty steward chose to bump their shoulder against the Celtic defender as he cheered.

However, it hasn’t gone unnoticed by Celtic, as they chose to mock the incident through this upload.

Meanwhile Cameron Carter-Vickers has not been called up to the USA squad for the upcoming Concacaf Nations League matches against Grenada and El Salvador. Carter-Vickers joins teammates Greg Taylor (Scotland), Kyogo and Reo Hatate (Japan) in being surprise omissions from their respective international squads. Alongside the Celtic captain Callum McGregor these four will be major contenders for Celtic’s Player of the Year yet all for whatever reason have been overlooked by their national team managers. It’s baffling really.
