Revealed! The Englishman in Scottish football with a better record than Paul Gascoigne

A CELTIC page on Facebook has this afternoon upset the People  BIG TIME by comparing the respective records of former Rangers player Paul Gascoigne the the current Celtic star Scotty Sinclair.

And It’s actually  a very interesting point made by Aidan on Until the last Rebel page, one you should remember and use when speaking to any Zombie acquaintances that you may have.

Aidan points out that Gascoigne made 74 appearances for the old Rangers, scoring 30 goals.

‘Gazza’ won 2 league titles, 1 Scottish Cup and 1 League Cup winners medal during his time in Scotland.

Gascoigne also won the Scottish PFA Player of the Year and the Scottish Sports Writers Player of the Year awards. Impressive stuff, undoubtedly from the former, former Rangers midfielder. Just about everything else about him is anything but impressive but  let’s put that to one side for the moment.

Instead, let’s see how Gascoigne’s fellow Englishman Scotty Sinclair compares to him from the Celtic man’s time in Scotland? So far Scotty Sinclair has made 75 appearances for Celtic – one more than Gascoigne managed for the old Ibrox club – and he has scored 32 goals – 2 more than Gazza!

Sinclair has also won two league titles – same as Gazza – but he has won 2 Scottish Cups and 2 League Cups, the Celtic star beats Gazza on both counts.

The Celtic winger has also won the PFS Scotland Player of the Year and the Sports Writers Player of the Year.

With none of the personal baggage associated with Gascoigne, surely it is only a matter of time before Scotty Sinclair in added to the Scottish football Hall of Fame?

Of course while Gascoigne, despite all his faults as a man, is idolised by the People, Scotty Sinclair has been subjected to racist abuse by them on numerous occasions, both at games at Ibrox (where Sinclair invariably scores) or on social media. He was even abused at Glasgow airport after a Glasgow Derby by their VIP supporters.

Looking in on one of their sites regarding this comparison  this afternoon, is an unpleasant experience to say the least. The People are livid, eyes popping out of their heads, mad – it’s foaming at the mouth, Zombie anger at its finest.

So well done Aidan on Until the last Rebel page – a job very well done!

And if you speak to any Zombies and they are going on about Gazza, tell them that Scotty Sinclair has the better record of the two in Scottish football…
