Riga v Celtic on Premier Sports and Celtic TV (for subscribers outside GB and Ireland )

PREMIER SPORTS will be showing the Riga v Celtic Europa League qualifier on Thursday evening within Great Britain and Ireland. And subscribers to Celtic TV living outside GB and Ireland will be able to watch the match live on the club’s own channel. The Third Qualifying Round match kicks-off at 6pm and Premier Sports coverage starts just 5 minutes before the action gets underway.

The tie will be decided on the night in Latvia and the winners will progress to the Play-off round with either Sarajevo or Budućnost Podgorica to battle for a place in the Europa League Group stages.

Here is the social media message from Premier Sports confirming that they will broadcast the match.

Celtic TV also confirmed this morning that they will be showing the vital European qualifier to customers outside GB and Ireland.

We pointed out to Celtic TV that this match offered Celtic a tremendous opportunity to provide the club’s 50,000 plus season ticket holders with some of that ‘additional value’ that was promised.

“This could have been an ideal ‘additional value’ opportunity for the club to give something back (as promised) to season ticket holders,” we pointed out.

“I think they are hoping we forget about the “additional value”” @Tetley1988 observed.

“Celtic TV only has the rights to show the game outside the UK/Ireland,” Celtic TV stated, rather obviously.
