Rodgers confirms Oh interest amid £4m exit rumours

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that there is interest in South Korean forward Oh. The 23-year-old came on for the second half in the 1-1 preseason draw with Ayr United on Friday night.

After the game, the Celtic boss confirmed that the club would assess the situation before any decision is made.

“There’s some interest in Oh, so again we’ll assess that as a club and just manage that.

“But you’ll see tonight, his attitude is great and he had a good 45 minutes and worked hard. Let’s see what the coming days bring on that one.”

Belgian side Genk have reportedly made a £4.2m offer for the striker that appears to be acceptable to parties. However, your imagine that this is contingent upon Adam Idah’s proposed transfer going through.

Celtic have reportedly tabled a £6m offer for the Irishman, which has been deemed acceptable due to the player’s stance on the move. It has been reported by Record Sport that the player would be heading to Glasgow to complete a medical before agreeing personal terms.

Celtic will likely do a fair bit of business this window both in terms of incomings and outgoings. Sead Haksabanovic what’s already been sold to Swedish side Malmo and Rocco Vata was allowed to leave to Watford after failing to agree a new deal.
