YING – 7/10 – The bhoy’s a trier, and tonight he came up trumps after incessant effort, displaying neat feet and quick wits. Good to see him get a goal – well taken – and he can gain a bit of confidence from outings like this.

LORD KATSUMOTO – 8/10 MOTM – Inscrutable, irrepressible. Wait ’til Bayern get a load of… Ah, for heaven’s sake.Still, maybe we can still sneak him in with a bowl-cut wig and cheeky grin – on this goalscoring spree there’s no telling the difference between him and our dear-departed killer mushroom; and that’s no Zombie-racist sentiment – that’s FACT. Daizen nets the hat-trick and totals up to 50 Hoops strikes. We wonder at the dynamic energy of this enigma, and some still don’t rate him; there should be a special dark room set aside in Paradise for those muppets.

TAKINTE – 6.5/10 – The Kuhn getting in tune! Love to watch his effortless glide and the pinged deliveries. Got a good warm-up for Bayern and we can expect him raring to get at those “Backpfeifengesicht Bavarian bananenbiegers!”* as he calls them.**
*’Bavarian banana-benders whose faces need a slap’, apparently.
**or maybe not.

Ralston sprayed out a suicidal poor concentration loose pass as he does at least once in every game that a better team would have scored from. He can cross but his defending is poor. No metion of that in your wee pet favourites ratings. You were prbably too pissed to notice
PS your stuff is no longer funny. Tired. Give up.
Thanks for playing, Brian. Enjoy the Queens Park game.
Maeda now looking and playing like an international certain starter for us should. It’s only taken, what? 3 or 4 years for his final ball & delivery no tae be embarrassing, but long may it continue.
None of us want oor players tae play shit, but some of us will say it when it happens. It’s just telling the truth! No agenda. Not a fan of the noisy neighbours. Just someone who played the game at a decent level & knows what I’m talking about. As opposed to just seeing a heidless chicken runnin abbot daft & praisin him for that! THAT is muppet behaviour!
But, right now i’m lovin this new improved Maeda that can cross & shoot like an international player should. BR def been workin on his final ball more than Ange ever did. I’ll hold my hands up & say, i’m startin tae actually like this new & improved Maeda. Great tae see!
Remember though there’s still fans that think Barkas deserved more time & was hard done by.
If Maeda plays well, i’ll say it! If he doesn’t: same. Cannae be honest these dats though, eh? smfh
If you played the game at a decent level then you should be well aware of the value of the guy in your team with the best engine.
You’ve slaughtered Maeda constantly, had distain for the praise heaped on him but he’s first and foremost a PLAYERS’ player – that graft you mock is uttely invaluable BEYOND your ‘decent’ level: at the top where time is the most precious commodity; his mad shuttling buys us time and cuts opposition time. Our players love that.
That was always his greatest value and why Japan play him in World Cups.. As will be missed v Bayern.
The fact his final ball has been woeful at times but now is beginning to show some quality is and always will be, the bonus when it comes to Daizen.
Dat is funny, don’t give up but give out.
