Scotland at the Euros: Watch Celtic supporter Erin Boyle Recite “Fae the Scheme tae the First Team”

A week after starring in Celtic’s marketing video for season ticket renewals The Kano Foundation’s Erin Boyle today has turned her attention to Scotland’s appearance at the European Championships – which start today – with some brilliant poetry that will resonate with so many people across the country in the way in which collectively think about the beautiful game.

In between these two high profile videos, Erin attended the Motherwell v Celtic match at Penny Cars Stadium in Airdrie on Sunday and I had a chat with her about her appearance in the Celtic video, which attracted plenty of criticism (due to the club’s predicament at the time) as well as praise. I told her to keep her chin up and head held high as she is a fine ambassador for the Celtic Support.

On Monday she sent me this nice wee message: “Hey David! Pleasure to meet you yesterday at the Womens game. Hopefully I’ll see you about again next season. Thanks again for your support on Friday. Keep well, Erin”.

Here she is summarising what all of Scotland is feeling about the football about to get underway at the Euros.
