Scotland star Kenny McLean waxes lyrical over superb Paradise atmosphere

Celtic Park’s atmosphere is clear for all to see as one of the better – if not the best ground – in the world when it is on top form. Not many will say that when it comes to friendlies, although some ground can be special in that sense.

It wasn’t expected by many to be the case in a meaningless pre-season friendly against Norwich, although Bhoys fans never fail to impress and brought a generally impressive crowd to the game against the recently relegated Canaries.

Many are shocked when they come to Paradise at just how loud it can be no matter the occasion and Saturday was no different at all.

McLean spent nine years in Scotland’s top-flight, amassing over 240 appearances at St Mirren and Aberdeen before departing for Norfolk in 2018.

Having earned 25 caps for Scotland and spending two seasons in the Premier League, the star has played at some of Europe’s finest grounds.
