Scotland’s Shame: New pictures emerge as Manchester remembers ‘worst nights of violence since the Blitz’

THE MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS today remembers the worst night of violence the city has seen since to Blitz and has published shocking never seen before images of the Rangers fans rioting on the day of their UEFA Cup Final defeat to Zenit St Petersburg.

These new images show shocking scenes of violence and destruction, of the absolute mess that these animals left the city in and of a police force trying desperately to contain the hordes – the paper puts the figure at 150,000 – who shamed Scotland.
