Highly rated midfielder joins on loan from Scottish giants
Crewe Alexandra are delighted to announce the signing of Scott Robertson on a season-long loan from Scottish Premiership side Celtic.
The 20-year-old midfielder becomes David Artell’s eighth signing of the summer transfer window and will be available for tomorrow’s trip to Shrewsbury Town in our Papa John’s Trophy opener.
The Scottish man tasted his first bit of League One action last season with loan spells at Gillingham and Doncaster Rovers where he received glowing reviews from both sides.
After coming through Celtic’s youth system, the technical midfielder was handed his debut in a Europa League group stage fixture against CFR Cluj.
We’d like to wish Scott all the success during his time with the Alex.
