‘Shake and Vac’ – That ‘Groundsman at Kilmarnock? Wits he dae? Hoover?’ Tweet was International Break Highlight

WELL that’s the International break over until next month anyway. At football Scotland were humiliated in Moscow, in the rugby we were eliminated from the World Cup in Japan but it was third time lucky in the Water Polo at Hampden against San Marino.

The highlight of the whole horrible week was the tweet about the Kilmarnock Groundsman who was photographed in Moscow suffering with the Tartan Army.

Paddy Farrell replied – “Groundsman at Kilmarnock hahahahaha. Wits the **** dae? Hoover?”

Some responses to that. Matt McGlone wrote, “Brilliant – just about spat out my Frosties laughing at your tweet.”

Harry Bhoy stated “I just thought Killie had a janny to keep an eye on that pitch.”

His Killie mate didn’t see the funny side,”It says groundsman, not greenkeeper. He looks after the grounds…do you hoover your car park?”

“Still howling at this hours later every time I scroll past it,” someone else noted. So to Paddy Bhoy, we salute you for giving us the highlight of the dreaded international break.
