‘Slippy the Best’ bites arrogant (the) Rangers on the bum

THREE DAY league leaders the Rangers turned up at Easter Road blasting out the Tina Turner classic Simply the Best and by half nine they were back in the dressing room Simply Depressed.

Celtic had swept aside Motherwell with three first half goals while Alfredo Morelos missed chance after chance, before booting the advertising hoardings in frustration.

Steven Gerrard has seen his side reach the summit of the Scottish Premiership twice and on each occasion they’ve bottled it after three days. Now they are playing Catch Up to Celtic who are a point ahead with a game in hand.

Slippy just can’t seem to stay out on front for very long in any league race.

Depressed? They’re Simply Depressed…

A Hearts fan described them this way…

“Hands down the stupidest club in the world………ever.”

Someone else commented: ‘Zero class as usual – giving the moronic hordes what they want. That misplaced sense of superiority which makes them so unlikeable. That and Stevie Gee with his ‘Let’s Go’ p*sh that he stole off some neanderthal American made-for-tv movie.”

“They’re like a school team with that carry on,” said another.

“Absolutely numpties.”

“Top of the league, having played more games, for three days and this is what happens! Between this and Gerrard saying Hibs fans only want to see the Rangers. What’s a clown.”

Another Hearts fan: “Honestly……what a riddy.”

And someone noticed a remarkable coincidence…

“The old club used to play that song too. You would think they would get their own song.”
