BRENDAN RODGERS was delighted with his side’s first half performance against a resolute Motherwell side. Three goals, including two fine strikes from Academy players Anthony Ralston and Mikey Johnston put the game to bed by the time Bobby Madden put Motherwell out of their first half misery.

The Celtic manager spoke to Celtic TV after the game and swell as discussing the goals he also gave an update on the injury to his only striker – Odsonne Edouard…
