“The Catholic community of the Calton are honoured and privileged to be asked to host the Liturgy and Requiem Mass for the man who scored the most important goal in Celtic history. Stevie’s Requiem Mass will take place in St Mary’s Church, Abercromby St at 11:30 on Wednesday 8 May 2019.
Archbishop Philip Tartaglia will celebrate the Mass.
It has been a very difficult few weeks for the Celtic family as we bury two legends from the Lisbon Lions. The funeral will take place less than a week after Cesar is laid to rest.
We send our condolences to both the Chalmers and McNeill families and they are in our thoughts and prayers during these most difficult times.
