He was dropped over the weekend against Hearts and didn’t feature in the Europa League second leg against Jablonec – but Liel Abada is back with a bang for Ange.
The Israeli missed out after picking up a potential knock in the 6-0 drubbing of Dundee, sparking fans fears that he could be out for a long time.
This resulted in the inclusion of Odsonne Edouard in a new look Celtic side which boasted swashbuckling attacking flair. However, with the return to training of Abada – and the subsequent injury picked up by Ryan Christie – the onus will be on Abada and Forrest to supply chances for Celtic’s new hero Kyogo Furuhashi.
Fans of Celtic – who are allowed in Paradise with a full capacity for the biggest game in Ange’s career – took to Twitter to show their happiness that their new youngster had been included.
Great to see Abada right back into the starting XI. Hopefully him and Kyogo set the metaphorical heather alight tonight. Eddie will have to work hard if he wants to reclaim a starting spot (he did seem much improved at the weekend).

No complaints from me about dropping Eddy for Abada. Kyogo through the middle running riot. Abada bring direct down the wing & knows how to put a cross in.

Hopefully this belter of a chant will ring around Parkhead tonight…
We’ve got Abada, he’s on the wing, we’ve got Kyogo he’s doing his thing! pic.twitter.com/l9Kv3OuZ3g
