Team News: Bayo on Bench, Boyata Boost, Weah start

DEDRYCK BOYATA has provided Celtic with a huge boost by passing a fitness test to play in this evening’s Premiership match against Hibs at Celtic Park.

And new signing Bayo is in the bench so could make his debut tonight.

With Kris Ayer suspended after picking up a red card in the 2-0 win at St Johnstone on Sunday, the Belgium World Cup star will slot back into the Celtic back four alongside Jozo Simunovic with new signing Jerry Toljan and Emilio Izaguirre in the full back roles, with the lean, mean shut-out machine Scott Bain in goals.

Ryan Christie has recovered from his latest bruising encounter – he seems to be on the receiving end of quite a few heavy challenges and he will play in the ‘Tom Rogic’ role ahead of Callum McGregor and the skipper Scott Brown.

Both Timo Weah and Oliver Burke start – with one of them on the right and the other through the middle and Scotty Sinclair will combine with Izaguirre down the left flak as usual.

Earlier today The Celtic Star revealed the Provisional Line-up for the team for tonight’s match against Hibs – a section we predicted on Monday actually.

Here is tonight’s Celtic team, just as the provisional line-up we predicted earlier today…

Jerry Toljan, Jozo Simunovic, Dedryck Boyata, Emilio Izaguirre

Scott Brown, Callum McGregor

Timo Weah, Ryan Christie, Scotty Sinclair
