Team’s Up – Alonso names his side for Hearts Away

Fran Alonso has named his team ahead of the Celtic women’s game against Heart of Midlothian. In the two previous games this season, Celtic have won 10-0 and 3-0 respectively and Alonso is hoping that to continue his side’s fantastic form this afternoon.

Alonso has made a few changes from the draw against Glasgow City, and it is unclear at the moment how he intends to set up his side for the clash as Celtic chase Champions League qualification.

The Celtic starting XI consists of Rachael Johnstone, replacing Chloe Logan in goals.

Alonso has decided to go with Jodie Bartle, Chloe Craig, Kate Nicolson. The manager has decided to rotate the pack slightly with Lisa Robertson, captain Kelly Clark, Rebecca McAllister and Izzy Atkinson starting. Jacynta Galabadaarachchi starts with Sarah Ewens and Tegan Bowie in attack.

On the bench Alonso has selected Logan, Keenan, Donaldson, Hayes, Filbey, Pollard and Warrington.

The game marks Craig’s 200th appearance for Celtic and she will be looking to make this milestone with a win.

The game will be available to watch on BBC Scotland online, kicking off at 1pm.

Come on you girls in green!
