Team’s Up – Bernabei and Ralston start, Giakoumakis up front

Ange Postecoglou has named his team for this afternoon’s game against Hearts at Tynecastle. Following the 4-0 win against Motherwell on Wednesday in the League Cup, Celtic return to Cinch Premiership duties with a tricky trip to Edinburgh to face Robbie Neilson’s outfit.

Celtic have scored ten goals in a week, having beaten Hibs 6-1 last weekend, and the manager has decided to make a couple of changes from the side that beat Motherwell at Fir Park during the week.

In goals, Joe Hart returns after his deputy Benjamin Siegrist had the gloves against Motherwell.

In defence, stand-in skipper Cameron Carter-Vickers is joined by Moritz Jenz in the central pairing. The manager has decided to go with Alexandro Bernabei over Greg Taylor at left-back and Tony Ralston over Josip Juranovic at right-back.

In midfield, Matt O’Riley will start at the base of the Celtic midfield, Reo Hatate and Aaron Mooy continue after impressing in the middle of the park during the week .

In attack, Daizen Maeda starts on the left, Giorgos Giakoumakis is through the middle with James Forrest playing on the right wing. It will have been a tough one to pick between Forrest and Liel Abada with both enjoying goals in the last week. However, the hat trick from the senior pro has tipped the scales for the manager as he opts for Forrest to play.

On the bench: Siegrist, Taylor, Kyogo, Haksabanovic, Abada, McCarthy, Ideguchi, Abildgaard, Juranovic.

Come on Celtic!
