Team’s Up – CCV and Bernabei start, Kuhn on bench

Brendan Rodgers has named his team for this afternoon’s Cinch Premiership clash against Ross County. The Highlanders arrive after a humbling against Partick Thistle last weekend in the Cup whilst Celtic disposed of Buckie Thistle.

As usual, No.1 Joe Hart starts in goals.

In defence, Alexandro Bernabei has been given a start in the absence of Greg Taylor. The Argentine is joined by Alistair Johnston in the full back berths with Cameron Carter-Vickers and Liam Scales starting in the central pairing.

In midfield, skipper Callum McGregor returns to play alongside Matt O’Riley and Paulo Bernardo.

In attack, Kyogo starts through the middle with Luis Palma and Liel Abada on the flanks.

On the bench: Bain, Kuhn, Turnbull, Holm, Nawrocki, Vata, Ralston, Welsh, M Johnston

Bernabei has a chance to prove he has a future at Celtic after Greg Taylor’s injury presented the youngster a chance to come in from the cold.

Hopefully we will see Kuhn come on and show us why he was signed. The lack of depth in attack on show is somewhat concerning, especially with a short time left in the window.
