Raith have been struggling in recent weeks with squad depth as well as challenges across the country regarding the decision to sign David Goodwillie. The striker joined from Clyde at the end of the January transfer window, which sparked outrage across the country.
Ange Postecoglou has already named his team for this afternoon and it is a strong XI, suggesting that he is not taking the threat of a cup upset lightly. The manager has decided to ring some changes whilst maintaining a strong core to the team.
The sides met in September with Postecoglou’s side winning 3-0 thanks to goals from Jota, Liel Abada and David Turnbull. The cash generated from the split gates will bolster the coffers of the Kirkcaldy outfit, even if it means that the money will be used to pay-off Goodwillie.
