Team’s Up – Craig comes in as Celtic Get Set for Title Charge

Fran Alonso has made one change to the team that won at Meadowbank against Hibs last Sunday as his thread-bare Celtic FC Women squad conclude their SWPL1 campaign at Celtic Park this afternoon in what is set to be a record breaking crowd for a women’s club match in Scotland.

Hearts are the visitors and will be looking to spoil title chasing Celtic’s afternoon but Fran Alonso attack-minded side will be looking at putting on a show and getting among the goals as Alonso’s side look to win any potential goal difference battle this evening with theRangers who play Glasgow City at Ibrox. If both win it will come down to who scores most today.

A win over Hearts also guarantees Fran Alonso’s side Champions League football. The Celtic Star has championed this Celtic FC Women team proudly for the last three seasons. We are sitting here at Celtic Park on 21st May where 44 years ago Billy McNeill’s side claimed a remarkable title win when Ten Men Won the League.
