Celtic Team News

Lisa Rodgers has the gloves with a back four Emma Lawton,  the captain Kelly Clark, Claire Walsh and  Hannah Luke.   In the middle of the park Celtic has  Lisa Robertson, Maria McAneny, Jenny Smith and the front three are Morgan Cross, Saoirse Noonan and Amy Gallacher.

On the bench for Celtic FC Women we have  Gay, Richardson, Momo,  Knox, Duncan, Dawson and McGoldrick

Meanwhile theRangers team is as follows:

Fife; Austin, Pegram, Eddie, Docherty (c), McLeary, Cruft, Sabajo, Berry. McAulay and Wilkinson.

Substitutes for theRangers this evening are Ivarsdottir, Rafferty, Lafaix, Connolly-Jackson, O’Brien, Coyle Morrow, O’Donnell and Shin Ji.

Match officials details as follows:

Thomas Denholm has the whistle. He is a referee that Celtic B team fans might recognise and he is rather card-happy issuing 48 yellow cards and two read so far this season. He’s also awarded three penalties in eight games and as there is no VAR in the SWPL, his decision is final. Denholm’s assistants this evening will be Steven G Spence and Victoria Kane.

Here’s how the table looks at the moment with Glasgow City establishing an early advantage in the title race with current Champions Hibs and Celtic trying to keep pace. Tonight’s hosts are a further three points behind Celtic having lost to all the top sides so far this season except one.

Glasgow City, and both Edinburgh sides Hibs and Hearts have beaten theRangers but Celtic have still to do so. This is long overdue and hopefully this is the night.
