Team’s Up – Debuts for Jota and Carter-Vickers

Ange Postecoglou has named his team for today’s game against Ross County at Celtic Park. The Celtic manager will be hoping to get the focus back into the pitch after Dom McKay’s shock resignation as Chief Executive yesterday. The visit of Malky Mackay’s Staggies will provide The Celts with the opportunity to get back to winning ways after the defeat to Rangers before the International Break.

In goals, Joe Hart starts.

In defence, the manager has picked Josip Juranovic, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Starfelt and Greg Taylor.

In midfield, captain Callum McGregor is joined by Tom Rogic and David Turnbull.

Albian Ajeti starts in attack, he will be looking to take his opportunity. He is joined by new signing Jota and Liel Abada on the wings.

On the bench for Celtic: Bain, Montgomery, McCarthy, Urhoghide, Soro, Shaw & Welsh.

It is a strong starting XI for Celtic but the bench looks to be a bit weak. It’ll probably take a few weeks until we start to see the squad in the way Ange envisages it due to injuries to Forrest & Kyogo as well as Giakonnis’ lack of preseason training.

Come on Celtic.
