Team’s Up – Derek McInnes names Kilmarnock Starting XI

Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes has named his starting XI for this afternoon’s Cinch Premiership clash against Celtic. Killie have won in two of their three meetings against the Scottish Champions and will hope to continue this run.

McInnes has named a strong side aimed at frustrating Celtic but also looking to punish when they get into advanced areas with an attacking 3-5-2.

Dennis, Mayo, Wright, Findlay, Nbada, Armstrong, Donnelly, Polworth, Kennedy, Vassell, Watkins.

Subs: O’Hara, McKenzie, Watson, Balagizi, Murray, Davies, Stewart, Mackay-Steven, van Veen.

Meanwhile, Brendan Rodgers has made one change from the side that beat St Mirren with Greg Taylor coming in for Alexandro Bernabei.

Hart, Ralston, Welsh, Scales, Taylor, McGregor, O’Riley, Palma, Maeda, Idah, Kyogo.

Subs: Bain, Nawrocki, Kühn, Kelly, Bernabei, Oh, Yang, Tomoki, Bernardo.

The game in Glasgow’s East End kicks off at 3pm. Brendan will be pushing his team on to extend their lead at the top of the league, with Rangers in pursuit. A win today would put pressure on the challengers, who travel north to face St Johnstone in Perth. Despite a narrative that they are on top, Celtic have eight wins and one draw in nine while Clement’s team have eight wins and a defeat.
