Team’s Up – Taylor returns, Kyogo and Idah up front

Brendan Rodgers has named his team for this afternoon’s Cinch Premiership match against Kilmarnock. The Scottish Champions return to league action after their win against St Mirren in the Cup last weekend, as well as returning to Paradise after three away trips on the bounce.

In goals, Joe Hart starts. The Englishman has made some big saves in the second half of the season and will look to continue that when called upon.

In defence, Liam Scales and Stephen Welsh continue as the central pairing with Greg Taylor and Tony Ralston starting.

In midfield, Callum McGregor starts alongside Matt O’Riley.

In attack, Adam Aidan starts through the middle. The Irishman will be flanked by Luis Palma and Daizen Maeda. Kyogo is in the free role behind the striker.

Subs: Bain, Kuhn, Yang, Nawrocki, Oh, Bernardo, Iwata, Bernabei and Kelly

Celtic will be looking to extend their lead over Rangers at the top of the Premiership by putting McInnes’ side to the sword. Killie have won two of the three meetings between the sides this season, something that the manager will be keen to rectify.
