Team’s Up – Elyounoussi and Brown starts, Forrest on bench for Glasgow Derby

Celtic’s Interim Manager John Kennedy has named his team to face theRangers this afternoon as Celtic look to restore some pride after what has been a wholly disappointing season. Kennedy has had two weeks with the players to prepare for the fixture, whilst theRangers were playing on Thursday night as they were well beaten by Slavia Prague in the Europa League.

John Kennedy has named a strong team, pulling no real surprises in the starting XI.

In goals, Scott Bain continues as Number One.

In defence, Jonjoe Kenny starts at right-back with Diego Laxalt operating at left-back. The central defensive pairing is made up of Kris Ajer and Stephen Welsh.

In midfield, Kennedy has decided to go with Scott Brown, Callum McGregor, David Turnbull and Ryan Christie. It is unclear whether it is a 4-4-2 (Diamond) or a 4-3-3 with Christie operating off the right.

In attack, Odsonne Edouard and Moi Elyounoussi are given the nod up front.

On the bench for Celtic is afternoon are Barkas, Taylor, Duffy, Bitton, Soro,  Griffiths, Klimala, Rogic and Forrest.
