Fran Alonso has named his Celtic FC Women’s side for this afternoon’s game against SWFL Champions, Glasgow City. It is a battle of the sides that finished in the top two last year but Alonso will be hoping that his team can go one better this year with a win over their Glasgow rivals.
Celtic come into this game after the 4-2 away win over Aberdeen at Cove Rangers’ stadium last week but they will be hoping for a result at home today. The team is out for the game at the Penny Cars Stadium in Airdrie.

It is a huge game this afternoon and it will be shown on BBC Alba, kicking off at 4:10pm. A positive result today would certainly put down a marker to the other teams that Celtic are getting better and better under Alonso; although, it is expected that an experienced team like Glasgow City will provided a strern test.
