Team’s Up – Giakoumakis starts, Kyogo & Forrest on bench

Ange Postecoglou has named his team for this afternoon’s game against Livingston. The Celtic boss was delighted with the win on the road against Hibs and will be hoping for more of the same today.

The Australian manager has made three changes to the team that won at Easter Rd, with Mikey Johnston, Kyogo and Tom Rogic dropping out for Liel Abada, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Nir Bitton.

In goals, Joe Hart continues in goals. The former England Internationalist has been an excellent signing for Celtic, making a couple of fantastic saves against Hibs.

The back four remains unchanged with Anthony Ralston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Starfelt and Josip Juranovic all continuing.

In midfield, Nir Bitton (who turns 30 today) replaces the injured Tom Rogic with Callum McGregor and David Turnbull starting with the birthday Bhoy.

In attack, Giorgos Giakoumakis starts with Liel Abada and Jota.

On the bench: Bain, Kyogo, McCarthy, Johnston, Forrest, Montgomery & Welsh.

It’s a strong team but it’s a rotated team, allowing players to get game time. It’s refreshing to see James Forrest on the bench after a lengthy spell out.
