Celtic sell-out announcements testament to Ange Postecoglou

Celtic have today revealed that the game against Livingston at 3.00pm is a sell-out. This is on the back of revealing the final Europa League encounter on December 9th versus Real Betis has also reached capacity figures.

The current state of affairs at Celtic is mainly positive, and that is testament to our new leader, Ange Postecoglou. Before Ange arrived Celtic were in a precarious position, having dithered and delayed their way into June without a manager. As a result, Ange was left with a matter of weeks with wantaway players, serious shortages on playing staff and a club in general dismay.

If we’re all being totally honest with ourselves, it’s a wonder we actually made the Europa League this year, never mind Europe’s elite competition, the Champions League. It speaks volumes for Ange’s ability as a coach, man mangager and his general character that as we head towards Halloween we are merely a couple of points off top spot in the league (with the possibility of going first today).

Factor into this that we are still in with a chance of finishing the Europa League group in second or third, still guaranteeing European football after Christmas and it looks like a minor miracle he’s taken us this far in such a short space of time.

Recent revelations from the Club that we have sold-out these crucial games is no surprise. Ange has definitely brought the feel-good and fear factor’s back to Celtic Football Club, and everyone knows it – including our arch rivals. To see them squirming again really is a delight.

It’s all down to Ange.

What a man!

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
