Team’s Up – Iwata and Maeda start in Dingwall

Ange Postecoglou has named his side for this afternoon’s game against Ross County in Dingwall. The Celtic manager has had to content with a few injury concerns but names a strong team.

Joe Hart starts in goals. The Englishman will have a back four in front of him of Alistair Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Starfelt and Greg Taylor.

Callum McGregor played 180 minutes for Scotland but he will play the deep lying role in the centre of the midfield. With Mooy and Hatate doubts, Matt O’Riley and Tomoki Iwata join the Celtic captain in the middle of the park.

Kyogo will start through the middle with Jota and Daizen Maeda in the wide areas.

On the bench: Scott Bain, Sead Haksabanovic, David Turnbull, Tobi Kobayashi, Oh, Alexandro Bernabei, Ben Summers, Rocco Vata, Stephen Welsh.

After Rangers beat Dundee United yesterday, Celtic go into this game looking to regain the nine point advantage at the top of the Cinch Premiership table. Michael Beale’s side travel to Paradise next weekend in the latest instalment of the Glasgow Derby.
