Team’s Up – Jimmy Thelin names Aberdeen XI for Celtic clash

Jimmy Thelin has named his Aberdeen XI for this evening’s Scottish Premiership clash with Celtic. The Dons held Celtic at Celtic Park back in October, coming from 2-0 down to snatch a 2-2 draw. However, since then, Celtic beat Aberdeen 6-0 at Hampden and then 1-0 at Pittodrie as the Pittodrie club were sent on a downward spiral.

Thelin will be targeting another result at Celtic Park and has named a defensive set up.

Aberdeen: Doohan, Jensen, Knoester, Tobers, MacKenzie, Nilsen, Shinnie, Keskinen, Okkels, Dabbagh, Nisbet.

Subs: Mitov, Clarkson, Gueye, Palaversa, Morris, Dorrington, Boyd, Ambrose, Enem.

Meanwhile, Brendan Rodgers has made three changes from the side that lost at Easter Rd as he demands a reaction from the weekend. Jefferey Schlupp, Reo Hatate and Jota come into the team at the expense of Greg Taylor, Luke McCowan and Adam Idah.

Celtic: Schmeichel, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Trusty, Schlupp, McGregor, Hatate, Engels, Kühn, Maeda, Jota.

Subs: Sinisalo, Scales, Idah, Yang, McCowan, Kenny, Murray, Ralston, Bonnar.
