Team’s Up – Jimmy Thelin names Aberdeen XI for Celtic clash

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin has named his side for this evening’s Scottish Premiership clash with Celtic at Pittodrie. The Scottish Champions are in the North East in a dress rehearsal for the Scottish Cup Final next weekend.

Thelin has named a strong team while Brendan Rodgers has made a number of changes. The Swede will want his side to get a result that keeps the heat on Hibs in the chase for third.

Aberdeen: Mitov, Jensen, Dorrington, Knoester, Shinnie, Palaversa, Clarkson, Morris, Gueye, Keskinen, Nisbet.

Subs : Doohan, Devlin, MacKenzie, McGrath, Polvara, Dabbagh, Okkels, Milne, Boyd.

Meanwhile, Brendan has named his side with a number of changes to the side that beat Hibs. The Scottish Champions have made a number of changes with Callum McGregor the only first team ‘regulars’ in the starting XI.

Celtic: Sinisalo, Ralston, Trusty, Nawrocki, Schlupp, McGregor, McCowan, Bernardo, Forrest, Yang, Kenny.

Subs: Schmeichel, Johnston, Taylor, Scales, Idah, Kuhn, Engels, Hatate, McArdle.
