Maik Nawrocki scored his first Celtic goal as Brendan Rodgers’ side took the lead at Pittodrie. A Luke McCowan corner came in and the Polish defender got himself free and netted with an excellent header.
Nawrocki came in from the cold against Rangers and followed it up with a tidy display against Hearts. Since then, the ex-Legia Warsaw defender has been involved in the matchday squads albeit from the bench.

Brendan spoke of giving opportunities to his team and Nawrocki was one of the beneficiaries of this decision. The defender repaid the manager’s faith with this goal and he’ll be hoping to continue impressing with a view to remaining at the club.
Kevin Nisbet pulled Aberdeen level after a seven minute medical break in the first half whereby an Aberdeen required treatment. Celtic were in the ascendancy before the break and they’ll be keen to get back to their best form before Aberdeen found the equaliser.
