Team’s Up – Juranovic starts, Giakoumakis on bench

Ange Postecoglou has named his starting XI for this afternoon’s game against Kilmarnock. The Ayrshire side were beaten 2-0 at Celtic Park last weekend but they now stand between Celtic and a second successive League Cup Final with Ange looking to retain his trophy.

In goals, Joe Hart starts owing to the absence of Cup keeper Benjamin Siegrist.

In defence, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt continue as the central pairing. Josip Juranovic starts at right-back whilst Alexandro Bernabei starts at left back.

In midfield, captain Callum McGregor starts at the base of the midfield. The skipper is joined by Reo Hatate and Aaron Mooy. The midfield enjoyed a lot of the ball as they probed the Killie defence last week but they will likely be expecting a similar situation.

In attack, Kyogo starts through the middle and he is assisted by Daizen Maeda on the left with Jota playing on the right.

On the bench: Bain, Johnston, Jenz, Giakoumakis, Abada, Turnbull, Kobayashi, O’Riley and Forrest

Come on Celtic!
