Team’s Up – Kobayashi gets his first start

Ange Postecoglou has named his starting eleven to take on St Mirren, the only side who have beaten Celtic in domestic football this season, at Paradise this evening.

Joe Hart retains the glows after his outstanding performance at Hampden on Saturday evening. The back four are Alistair Johnston, Debut Bhoy Kobayashi , Carl Starfelt and Josip Juranovic.

In the middle of the park the skipper Callum McGregor is joined by Reo Hatate, Matt O’Riley, On the wing this evening are Liel Abada and Jota while Kyogo leads the line as usual.

On the bench for Celtic – well there is no sign of Giakoumakis! The subs are Bain, Haksabanovic, Mooy, Turnbull, Iwata, Maeda, Forrest, Ralston and Welsh.

Celtic have a 100% home record in the Scottish Premiership and the support will be very confident that this impressive record will be extended this evening against a St Mirren side who have not had much joy on the road this season.

There is no sign of Cameron Carter-Vickers who like Giorgos Giakoumakis were sore after the tough match at the weekend. However it should be remember that the Greek striker only played a limited number of minutes so that explanation as far as he is concerned can be taken with a pinch of salt, possibly.
