Celtic opened the scoring through Liel Abada in this evening’s match against St Mirren. The Israeli forward is deployed down the right hand side after being restored to the starting XI at the expense of Daizen Maeda.
With the ball coming in from a Jota corner, Carl Starfelt attacked the cross and forced a save from Trevor Carson. The Irishman’s save only went as far as Kobayashi, who then clattered his effort against the post with the rebound sitting up favourably to Abada. – who made it 1-0.
